Go Fred LLC ("Go Fred," "we," "us," or "our") is a Delaware limited liability company. We operate the website located at www.gofred.ai (the "Site").
We build and operate FRED OS, an operations platform for Amazon FBA brands, provided as part of managed service engagements: FBA inventory monitoring, financial reconciliation, order analytics, and operational reporting for the brands we manage.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Site or engage with our services. Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using our Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
- Name, email address, and company name when you contact us by email through this Site
- Business information you share via email correspondence to support@gofred.ai
- Brand details, product information, and business goals you share during consultations
- Any other information you choose to provide to us
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Site, certain information may be collected automatically, including:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, version, and language preferences
- Device type, operating system, and screen resolution
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation paths
- Referring website or source that directed you to our Site
- Date and time of your visit
Our Site is hosted on Vercel. We do not currently employ first-party analytics or tracking scripts. However, our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect certain technical data as part of its standard hosting operations.
Information from Third Parties
When you engage us as a client, you may grant us access to your Amazon Seller Central account by authorizing the FRED OS application. Through this access, we may receive:
- Product listing data, sales performance metrics, and account analytics
- Inventory data and fulfillment information
- Order records, financial events, and settlement data
- Account health information as made available through Amazon's platform
The collection and use of Amazon Seller Central data is governed by your separate client service agreement with Go Fred LLC, by Amazon's applicable terms and policies, and by Section 10 of this policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services and the FRED OS platform
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services
- To deliver inventory monitoring, financial reconciliation, order analytics, and operational reporting for your Amazon business
- To analyze and improve our Site, services, and business operations
- To send you relevant communications about our services, including performance reports
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations
- To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our clients and others
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, or technical problems
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use third-party service providers to support our business operations: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Fly.io (background processing). These providers only receive information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- Amazon: In the course of managing your Amazon account, we interact with Amazon's platforms and APIs on your behalf. This is done pursuant to your authorization and Amazon's applicable terms.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When your information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
For client Amazon Seller Central data, we retain information for the duration of our service engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by applicable law or legitimate business needs. See Section 10 for the retention and deletion commitments specific to Selling Partner API data.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Florida Residents
Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (effective July 1, 2024), Florida residents who meet certain thresholds may have the following rights:
- Right to Access: You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy of that data.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to Opt Out: You may opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. Note: Go Fred LLC does not sell personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@gofred.ai. We will respond to your request within 45 days, as required by law.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Other State Privacy Laws
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including but not limited to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas) may have similar rights. Please contact us to discuss your specific rights under applicable law.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@gofred.ai.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
9. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies and practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
10. Amazon Selling Partner API Data (FRED OS Application)
Go Fred LLC operates FRED OS, a software application registered with Amazon as a Selling Partner API developer application. When an Amazon seller authorizes FRED OS to access their Seller Central account, we collect and process data from that account under this section, Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy, and Amazon's Data Protection Policy.
What We Access
FRED OS requests only standard (non-restricted) Selling Partner API roles. Through them we access seller business data: inventory levels and movements, order records, financial events and settlement data, product listing content, and account performance analytics.
What we do not access: FRED OS does not request the restricted roles that expose buyer personally identifiable information. We do not collect, store, or process buyer names, shipping or billing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or tax identifiers.
How We Protect It
- Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Tokens are never written to logs, error messages, or analytics.
- Seller data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security, isolated per client, hosted in the United States.
- Access is limited to Go Fred LLC personnel who need it to deliver the engaged services, under unique credentials with multi-factor authentication.
- Amazon account changes made through FRED OS occur only after review and approval by a human operator.
How Long We Keep It
Seller business data is retained for the duration of the client engagement and as needed for financial reconciliation, year-over-year performance analysis, and tax or audit support. Data that no longer serves a documented business purpose is deleted or aggregated on a scheduled review. When a seller revokes the FRED OS authorization or an engagement ends, associated account data is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, except records we are legally required to keep.
Sharing
Seller data accessed through the Selling Partner API is never sold, rented, or used for advertising. It is shared only with the infrastructure subprocessors that host our systems, Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Fly.io (background processing), each bound by its own security commitments, and only as needed to operate the service.
Your Choices
Sellers may revoke FRED OS access at any time in Seller Central under Account Settings, Manage Your Apps. To request deletion of previously collected data, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of our Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
